New Italian restaurant Attimi opens in Muswell Hill
“Authentic Italian cuisine” arrives at Muswell Hill, promising to bring a contemporary twist to generational recipes and a long list of fine wines that are sure to impress.
Owner Andrea Cassola will be opening the Attimi restaurant at 240 The Broadway on Wednesday, May 26.
Andrea previously worked as the operational manager of the Italian restaurant and wine bar Calici in Belsize, and was inspired to open her own restaurant.
The upscale 45-seat restaurant is awash in a calming palette that’s accentuated by eye-catching textiles and features such as an exposed stone wall.
He said he aims to bring a “Mayfair touch” to Muswell Hill, “while it’s not casual, it’s not quite fine dining but offers a perfect in between.”

“The dishes we present to our customers are upscale but at an affordable price. We want to become the restaurant where you can have this great meal at a reasonable price, ”said the 45-year-old.
Executive Development Chef Matteo Berengo, who works within the team at Michelin Guide restaurant Enoteca Di Buttrio, will create Attimi’s menus alongside Andrea and her chef.
Some highlights of Andrea’s menu include low-cooked veal and freshly seared tuna with anchovies, caper mayonnaise and veal jus; spaghetti with essences of red shrimp, burrata and croutons; and the fruit cheesecake for dessert.

Attimi – Italiaan for “moments” – has over 100 predominantly Italian wines, which can be tasted by the glass, carafe or bottle.

The opening hours will be from noon to 10:30 p.m., Monday to Friday and from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekends.
